First Lt. Rolesta Brooks, from Marietta, Ga., and a platoon leader with the 20th Engineer Battalion here, sings “The Star-Spangled Banner” to begin a prayer luncheon hosted by the 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment “Headhunters,” 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, in the Comanche Chapel here Sept. 11. The luncheon provided Soldiers with an opportunity to build morale, encourage each other, have lunch together, and build spiritual fitness, said Sgt. Whitney Celestin, a Fitzgerald, Ga., native and a Headhunter chaplain’s assistant. This is the first prayer luncheon the Headhunters have hosted this year, and coordinators plan to make it an annual event, said Celestin. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
