U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. James Wahl, right, Combat Logistics Battalion (CLB) 22, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), communications maintenance chief and native of Newark, Ohio, receives a meritorious mast from Lt. Col. William Carroll, CLB-22 commanding officer and native of Mt. Gilead, N.C., for his service as a corporals course instructor aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19).
