Master Sgt. Illyas M. Asaddullah, a native of San Diego, who serves as superintendent of the 361st Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron, holds the unit’s guidon next to a MC-12W Liberty intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft during an end of mission ceremony held on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Sept. 1, 2014. The unit’s colors were later cased, which marked the end of four years of IRS flights throughout Regional Command-South.
