U.S. Soldiers from Task Force Sinai and the 1st Support Battalion give the general salute to Maj. Gen. Denis Thompson, force commander for Multinational Force and Observers, Aug. 24, during a medals parade on the MFO's North Camp. During the parade the Soldiers received their MFO medals. The medal is awarded for 6 months of continuous service to support peace in the Sinai. The ceremony also held special meaning to the Soldiers of the 1st Support Battalion who are planning to redeploy home later this year. (U.S. Army photo by: Sgt.
