Spc. Saliou Aboudou is a truck driver with the Iowa Army National Guard's Detachment 1, 1133rd Transportation Company, 1034th Combat Sustainment Battalion, out of Iowa City. Originally from the small West African nation of Benin, Aboudou began the process for U.S. citizenship once he became an Iowa Army National Guard Soldier.
