Dr. Juan Carlos Pinzon Bueno, the minister for the Colombian National Ministry of Defense, recites the oath to all the 17 delegations during the opening ceremony for the Fuerzas Comando competition at Fort Tolemaida, Colombia, July 23. Fuerzas Comando, established in 2004, is an U.S. Southern Command-sponsored special operation skills competition and fellowship program. This event is aimed at enhancing training and strengthening regional and multinational cooperation, mutual trust, readiness, and interoperability of special operations forces in the region.
