During an award ceremony held July 17 in Paldiski, Estonia, Capt. Colin P. Bair, commander of Troop B, 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, congratulates Cpl. Silver Saluste with the Estonian Scoutspataljon (Single Scouts Infantry Battalion) for his team’s first place finish in the stress-shoot competition. The stress-shoot consisted of nine challenges that culminated in a stress-shoot competition that tested the soldiers’ strength, speed, endurance and marksmanship. Competing teams had opportunities to learn about each other’s weaponry, equipment and squad-level tactics. Approximately 600 paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne are in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve to demonstrate commitment to NATO obligations and sustain interoperability with allied forces.
