Iowa National Guard Soldiers from Company A, 1st Battalion, 168th Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Iowa Army National Guard, reconnoiter possible checkpoints for use during their mission to assist local, state and federal law enforcement agencies with inauguration security. More than 1,000 Iowa National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are in Washington, D.C., to support the 56th presidential inauguration.
