Senior Airman Earl Pruett and Staff Sgt. Bobby Lewis orchestrate the movement of ground assets from the air traffic control tower at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Oct. 23, 2008. These air traffic control Airmen enable aircraft to take off, land and taxi without traffic obstacles on the Department of Defense's busiest single airfield. Pruett, an air traffic control journeyman with the 332nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, is deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and his hometown is Yokota, Japan. Lewis, also an air traffic control journeyman with the 332nd EOSS, is a native of Bristol, Fla., deployed from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.
