An Avenger missile system takes out a drone in the night skies over Fort Bliss, Texas. Soldiers from the South Carolina National Guard’s 263rd Army Air and Missile Defense Command and the 2nd Battalion, 263rd Air Defense Artillery, both from Anderson, S.C., used these drones as targets during a live-fire exercise at Fort Bliss April 5-9 in preparation for deployment to the National Capital Region.
