There was a heavy rain during Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4's Command Post Exercise (CPX), which left several inches of mud where the battalion had set up for the exercise, making it difficult during the break down at the conclusion of the exercise on Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, Calif. The CPX is a graded evolution that prepares NMCBs for their Field Training Exercise (FTX). NMCB 4's FTX is in April of this year.
