'Comrades in Arms' battle on the field - soccer field that is [Image 5 of 8]

3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division

Lt. Col. Muhemed Salah Hadi, commander of the 3rd Battalion,3rd Brigade , national police, Shaab District, places a medal on the head of one of his officers after a friendly soccer game against local Son's of Iraq from the Shaab District at Al-Kashefah stadium in the Adhamiyah District of Baghdad, Oct. 12, 2008. Two games were played this day. The national police played against one group of Son's of Iraq. The second game was played between the Iraqi army's 1st Battalion, 42nd Brigade, 11th Division and another group of Son's of Iraq. Earlier in Oct. the Son's of Iraq were transferred under the control of the Iraqi army's 1st Battalion. These games were played to build and display to the general public the unity and camaraderie between the personnel.
