The goaltender for the Son's of Iraq, Shaab District, soccer team charges a player from the Iraqi national police's, 3rd Battalion,3rd Brigade, Shaab District, team to prevent him from scoring a goal, during a friendly soccer game a at Al-Kashefah stadium in the Adhamiya District of Baghdad, Oct. 12, 2008. Two games were played this day. The national police played against one group of Son's of Iraq. The second game was played between the Iraqi army's 1st Battalion, 42nd Brigade, 11th Division and another group of Son's of Iraq. Earlier in Oct. the Son's of Iraq were transferred under the control of the Iraqi army's 1st Battalion. These games were played to build and display to the general public the unity and camaraderie between the personnel.
