Casey Staker, a native of Cincinnati and executive officer of Company E, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, checks acceptance letters for the Jihad Civil Services Department Job Training Focus Program Oct. 5, 2008 against a list of names compiled from 450 applicants from the Sons of Iraq in the West Rashid District of southern Baghdad. Co. E enrolled 195 SoI members into the CSD vocational training program created to provide alternative job opportunities for former SoI members who voluntarily dropped from the program, which will be eventually dissolved under the control of the Iraqi government. Classes are scheduled to begin Oct. 18, 2008.
