Staff Sgt. Leonard Morgan (left) from Jacksonville, Fla., and Spc. Ari Fleming of West Sayville, N.Y., plot their location on a map during the land navigation event in the U.S. Army Alaska Winter Games at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, March 10-13. Morgan and Fleming are competing in the games as part of a team from 725th Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne), 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. The games are designed to test the soldiers' ability to execute required cold-weather skills and tasks with realistic challenges the 29, 10-man teams from across Alaska are competing in.
