Army Brig. Gen. Brian McKiernan, 82nd Airborne Division deputy commanding general for support, Fort Bragg, N.C., discusses paratrooper techniques, tactics and procedures to Air Force Maj. Gen. Rick Martin, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center commander, during joint exercise Global Response Expeditor on Jan. 15, 2014, at Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, N.C. The purpose of this exercise was to prepare United States Transportation Command units, Air Mobility Command forces and elements of the XVIII Airborne Corps to respond as part of the Global Response Force and to conduct Joint Forcible Entry operations. This exercise executed Joint Forcible Entry operations in support of a combined Joint Task Force utilizing drop zones at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, La.
