Tech. Sgt. Thomas Gipson, research advisor for the 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, installs a new DVD drive to a personal computer so it'll be able to read and record DVD discs Sept. 7, 2008, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Gipson and other resource advisors here approve and purchase communications devices for use in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Gipson, a native of Waycross, Ga., is deployed from Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
