An F/18-A++ takes off from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam during Exercise Forager Fury II Dec. 9. The series of exercises which MAG-12 is conducting in the Mariana Islands focus on refining core skills within the squadrons and MAG. This, in turn prepares them to function as an integrated air unit able to perform a wide range of missions. The F/18 is with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112, “The Cowboys”, Marine Aircraft Group 41 currently assigned to MAG-12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program. VMFA-112 is a reserve squadron from Fort Worth, Texas.
