Members of the Hancock Yacht Club celebrate the progression and reestablishment of the original facility, Nov. 7 at the Hancock Yacht Club House. Since the establishment of the club in 1956, the members have refurbished the entire home including repainting, installing hardwood floors and remodeling the kitchen of the home. The purpose of the Hancock Yacht Club is to inform the residents of Cherry Point the importance of boating safety and provide them with boating knowledge.
