Lance Cpl. Cole Reeb, a Light Armored Vehicle crewman with Black Sea Rotational Force 14, practices patrolling as preparation for mounted and dismounted patrols in Bistrita, Romania, Oct. 7, 2013. Patrolling was one of the many things conducted during the week-long training exercise, Platinum Lynx, in which Marines, sailors and Romanian forces partnered together. Black Sea Rotational Force 14 is a rotation of Marines to the Black Sea, Balkan and Caucasus regions to work with partner-nation militaries and increase interoperability and military capacity while further strengthening and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships throughout the Eastern European region.
