Six Army Soldiers from the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion, receive Army Commendation Medals, Aug. 20, 2013, for their actions at an accident scene, near Oheah, Djibouti, earlier this year. The Soldiers were on their way to a driver's training course when they came across a collision between a semitruck and pickup truck. The Soldiers applied first aid and treated the injured until local authorities arrived. The battalion is a CJTF-HOA unit whose mission includes stabilizing and strengthening security in East Africa through military-to-military engagements with partner nations.
