Dr. Frances G. Holt, executive director of Navy Munitions Command (NMC) visits the partakers of Ordnance Exercise (ORDEX) 2013, Holt is welcome by Lt. Matthew Snyder, weapons officer of Navy Cargo Handling Battalion (NCHB) 1 at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, Cheatham Annex. NMC provides explosive safety training and support to ORDEX 2013. NCHB 1 is the only active duty cargo handling battalion and is a rapidly deployable operating unit of the Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG). NAVELSG is part of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, a global force provider of adaptive force packages with expeditionary capabilities to joint war fighting commanders. (U. S.
