In 1982, His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, signed the official RAF Station Book on RAF Mildenhall. The cabinet housing the book had a broken piece of glass in it, and Haeseler helped David Spragg, 100th CES structures charge hand carpenter and joiner from Yorkshire, England, manufacture a new case out of materials left over from other base projects.
