In 1982, His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, signed the official RAF Station Book on RAF Mildenhall, England. The cabinet housing the book had a broken piece of glass. The chapel ordered a new piece of glass, and David Spragg, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron structures charge hand carpenter and joiner from Yorkshire, England, and Airman 1st Class Scott Haeseler, 100th CES structures journeyman from Mystic, Conn., used their time and skills to make a new case out of off-cuts at no cost to the U.S. government.
