U.S. Army Spc . Sean Salter of Bitburg, Germany, assigned to 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery conducts pre-combat checks as a part of the PCC Lane of U.S. Army Europe's Best Warrior Competition at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Aug. 19, 2013. The competition is a weeklong event that tests soldiers' physical stamina, leadership and technical knowledge and skill. The competitors represent the best in their units and exemplify the USAREUR imperatives of teamwork, comprehensive fitness, leader development, training, discipline and standards.
