Equipment is offloaded at Shiraoi Port, Japan from a barge that was used to transport it from Malaysia to Japan for exercise Orient Shield 14 at Camp Higashi-Chitose, Japan, Oct. 23, 2014. Orient Shield is an annual bi-lateral exercise between the U.S. Army and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force to enhance the interoperability and combat readiness of the two forces.
