More than 150 Arizona National Guardsmen participated in a 9/11 Memorial Hike at Piestewa Peak here, Sept. 11, 2011. Since the start of the conflicts with Iraq and Afghanistan, seven Guardsmen from Arizona have made the ultimate sacrifice. They were remembered here today as their fellow Soldiers carried their photos up the peak followed by a moment of silence at the top to also remember all those who were killed 10 years ago on that early September morning in New York, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon.
