Staff Sgt. Jason Hipp, a member of the 363rd Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit, in Coolidge, Ariz., and instructor at the EOD school in Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., explains how his unit trains to keep sharp. They set off detonations in the desert of the U.S. Army National Guard Florence Training Range in Florence, Ariz., early Saturday morning as apart of their annual training and in preparation for the upcoming EOD competition.
