After awarding the Legion of Merit to Del Rio, Texas native 1st Sgt. Agustin Rodriguez (center), who recently served as the rear detachment command sergeant major for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Maj. Gen. Daniel P. Bolger (right), commanding general, 1st Cav. Div., prepares to award his wife Sandra Rodriguez with a certificate of appreciation during the 1st Cav. Div.'s Distinguished Service and Welcome Ceremony July 1 at Fort Hood, Texas for her support during 1st Sgt. Rodriguez's career. Rodriguez served on active duty for 26 years and will be retiring to central Texas with his family.
