A representative from the Onslow County Department of Social Services was presented with a plaque by Brig. Gen. Thomas A. Gorry, the commanding general of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and North Carolina Senator Harry Brown during a ceremony hosted by the Child Advocacy Center of Onslow County recently. The plaque commemorated the departments commitment to protecting the children of Onslow County.
