Team Bayonet represents US in international weapons competition

Spc. James Griswold and spotter, Staff Sgt. John Flynn, both with 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. compete in the Open Sniper Competition during the Australian Army Skill at Arms Meeting, conducted at Puckapunyal Military Range, May 6-17. The AASAM was designed to pitch the best soldiers against each other in a tough combat-like environment and focuses on the skills required of a modern fighting soldier.
