An MV-22B Osprey sits aboard the JS Shimokita during exercise Dawn Blitz 2013, June 14. This exercise enhances interoperability, cooperation, and readiness between the Navy and Marine forces as well as coalition partners, providing a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from each other, establish personal and professional relationships and hone individual and small-unit skills through challenging, complex and realistic live scenarios with special focus on building combat power ashore.
