Marines repaint a second floor railing of the Sugi Noko Preschool June 1 in Kin Town. The Marines volunteered to help not only the school but also a Kadena Air Base Life Scout. “When I heard about this Eagle Scout level service project, I wanted to be a part of it,” said Sgt. Nathan R. Campbell, the technical control chief with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. “It’s important to do things like this to demonstrate our care for the community.” The Marines are from various units on Camp Hansen.
