Cpl. Oscar J. Bermudez, a machine gunner, Motor Transportation Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, conducts pre-convoy inspections on his M-240 squad automatic weapon. "We are going to supply all the forward operating bases in the Fallujah area so Marines can continue their missions," said Bermudez, from Oxnard, Calif. The Marines delivered more than 2,000 gallons of water and 1,500 gallons of bulk fuel. This mission was important to the survival of the Marines on the FOBs. Several containers containing food supplies (A-RATS) were delivered as well.
