Marines launch grenades during live-fire exercise

The remains of a 40mm grenade training round paint the ground orange May 14 at the Central Training Area near Camp Hansen. Marines fired MK-19 grenade launchers, M203 grenade launchers and M32 semiautomatic grenade launchers during a live-fire training exercise. The Marines honed their skills with the various weapons systems during the exercise, employing both target practice grenades and 40mm high explosive dual purpose grenades. Marines also fired the M203 grenade launcher, AT-4 light anti-armor weapon and the MK153 shoulder-fired multipurpose assault weapon to increase proficiency.
