Marines stand at attention during a mass reenlistment ceremony conducted by Brig. Gen. Robert R. Ruark, Commanding General of the 1st Marine Logistics Group. The Marines took advantage of the reenlistment opportunities during a retention assist visit, June 5 to 8. Fifteen monitors from Headquarters Marine Corps came to Camp Taqaddum to speak with Marines about reenlistment options. More than $6 million in reenlistment bonuses was given out during the team's visit, said Gunnery Sgt. Donald G. Bird, head monitor and trip coordinator.
