97th SFS recognizes the fallen defenders

Airmen assigned to the 97th Security Forces Squadron performed 30-minute shifts of the “Guarding of the Wreath” at Wings of Freedom Park, May 15. In observance of National Police Week and in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day, which is held annually to recognize law enforces killed or disabled in the line of duty, 97th SFS members covered their badge with black tape to honor fallen defenders.
