Maj. Beire Castro, assistant program manager for Tactical Communications and Protective Systems, or TCAPS, explains the function of the equipment to Brig. Gen. Gwen Brigham, commanding general, White Sands Missile Range, N.M., during Network Integration Evaluation 13.2 Distinguished Visitors Day held May 11 at WSMR. More than 30 visitors were briefed on the tactical network enabling mobility on-the-move and at-the-halt by using military and commercial satellite and terrestrial radios to achieve soldier connectivity.
