Marine Band San Diego shines in Phoenix sun

Cpl. Daniel Vazquez, a native of Phoenix and a trumpet player with Marine Band San Diego, performs during a concert the band played at Higley High School in Gilbert, Ariz., May 11, 2013. The 25-member band highlighted their show with a performance of Bruno Mars' "Locked out of Heaven." The purpose of the concert, hosted by Marine Corps Recruiting Station Phoenix and the Higley Unified School District, was to entertain and show a viable option the Marine Corps has to offer aspiring musicians.
