FORT CARSON, Colo. – Pfc. Joseph Boccabella, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, throws a spear during the Moral, Welfare and Recreation sponsored Spartan Race at Fort Carson’s Iron Horse Park, May 4 2013. Boccabella was one of thousands to participate in the four-mile course, and one of the few participants to hit the target directly in the center with the spear.
