Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense specialist U.S. Marines assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), transport a simulated casualty on a Skedco during a confined space search and rescue in a hazardous environment exercise, in the hangar bay of the USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), while underway, May 8, 2013. The 26th MEU is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations aboard the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group. The MEU is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force capable of conducting amphibious operations, crisis response and limited contingency operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photograph by Cpl. Kyle N.
