2-17 FA puts steel on target

Cannon crew members assigned to the, 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment, position and place the spade on their weapon, the M777 Howitzer, during a live fire training exercise on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., May 2., The Batteries of the Steel Battalion spent the day training and live firing rounds from howitzers as part of a twice-a-year requirement to certify on the weapon.
