During the event, "Bladeslingers" were evaluated at several stations in round robin format, including performing preventive maintenance checks and services, evaluating a casualty, establishing a Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System, interacting with news media, and reacting to contact, all while employing land navigation to travel between stations.
