JROTC cadets from South Dade High School do military presses using containers filled with rocks as part of a series of drills as part of a military training day, April 17, at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. The event is part of SOCSOUTH's ongoing mentorship program called the Special Operations Command Military Assistance Program or SOCMAP. The program was established in an effort to strengthen ties between SOCSOUTH and high school students throughout the Homestead area.
