An airman leads Marines of Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment toward their plane here April 20 to begin their journey to Australia. Approximately 200 Marines and Sailors deployed to Darwin, Australia, for approximately six months as the second iteration of Marine Rotational Force-Darwin. MRF-D provides opportunities to engage in security cooperation activities, and improve disaster relief and crisis response capabilities.
