Filipino and U.S. firefighters exchanged tactics and techniques to better prepare themselves for future emergencies. The training was part of exercise Balikatan 2013, an annual bilateral training evolution aimed at ensuring interoperability of the Philippine and U.S. militaries during planning, contingency and humanitarian assistance operations.
