Norman, a red cell role-player, during a mass-casualty scenario during Exercise Active Shield, March 5, 2013. The role-players acted out a helicopter crash and simulated wounds ranging from bruises to major lacerations. Once notified, medical and emergency personnel responded, triaged and treated the patients.
