Staying left of the bang

Soldiers from 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division's Raider Ready Reserve keep their eyes on the objective from an observation post during Advanced Situational Awareness Training, conducted Feb. 25 through March 1. The training enhanced Soldiers' ability to identify indicators of insurgent activity in Afghanistan, where the brigade is currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The 4th SBCT, 2nd Inf. Div. ‘Raiders’ gathered at the ballpark for an evening of rest and relaxation following recent training at the National Training Center in California, to emerge refreshed and ready to resume preparations for future training and operations.

The ‘Raiders’ are scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan late autumn in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
