Raiders assume mission at Camp Buehring

Col. Johnnie Johnson Jr., commander, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, welcomes the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, to Camp Buehring, Kuwait, and thanks the brigade’s partners and leaders for providing outstanding support throughout their 9-month deployment during a mission assumption ceremony, March 4, 2013. “The capabilities and support of all of these well trained and focused units allowed us to aggressively pursue our campaign plan and support the broader ARCENT campaign plan,” Johnson said. “We simply could not have asked for a better situation with which to conduct operations and training and develop the next generation of leaders”
