A young North Carolina State University Army ROTC Cadet confirms fields of fire a security perimeter with a soldier during a field training exercise at the Camp Butner National Guard Training Center here Feb. 23 and 24. These soldiers were part of 65 other North Carolina National Guardsmen from Recruiting and Retention Detachment IV, Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) based in Morrisville, N.C. The future soldiers and leaders participated in the training in order to learn common soldier tasks and develop leadership skills in preparation for army basic combat training.
